New: Scion

A new brand, launched by Harlequin has just emerged - Scion. It aims to provide an affordable yet uncompromising range of interior products and their first collection, Melinki, doesn't disappoint. The range is inspired by mid-century archive documents and modern Scandinavian design, these versatile patterns enjoy a cool, clean palette of fashionable hues: coastal calm, retro kitsch, bakelite brights and urban neutrals.

The clean, fresh nature-inspired prints make it clear that Scandinavian design is a big influence on this collection but the cool colour palette evokes a retro fifties feel.

Emma Bridgewater's new Spring Summer Jubilee collection is here and looking fab. Nothing says British better than Bridgewater and her items for the Queen's celebrations are just lovely. If you're planning a Tea Party for the celebrations (I know I will be) then you can't possibly be without some of this beautiful crockery!

Red is the colour of Love and seeing as Valentine's Day is just around the corner I thought I'd share with you some inspiration for making your home look romantic for that quiet night in.

Whether it's warm and cosy or bright and bold, red is a favourite of designers for creating a statement. It's full of passion and drama and so is not for the faint hearted but when used in the right way can really add that little extra something to a living space.

I'm loving the new 'Havana' collection by Designers Guild. Inspired by Mexican folk art it is a sophisticated and free spirited collection of fabrics. The colour ways are well chosen and the bold south american inspired pattern is reminiscent of retro sixties prints.

Valentine's Cards: Typography
